In collaboration with Saksumdalen Tempel, Breton Cassette proudly present release # 031

 

«OP.56» by Runhild Hundeide

 

The sound work «OP.56» comprise of ten unique, ready-made cassettes, all mixing vocals with synths by Runhild Hundeide. The work is an excerpt from an ongoing opera-production by Hundeide, and is published by Breton Cassette in collaboration with Saksumdal Tempel.

 

Runhild Hundeide lives and works in Oslo. She is educated at The National Academy of The Arts, Oslo, and participated at Mountain School of Arts, Los Angeles. Recent exhibitions and projects include Saksumdal Tempel, Saksumdal, Caravan, Oslo, Rogaland Kunstsenter, Stavanger, Podium, Oslo, Inertia, Oslo/Stavanger and September Dialouge, Oslo/Stavanger.

 

Sakumdal Tempel is an artist run space for presentation and production of contemporary art, that also offers accommodation for artists. The project is situated in Saksumdal, Lillehammer and is co-founded and run by Siri Leira and Tarald Wassvik.

 

«OP.56» will be presented at Chart Art Fair, Copenhagen, August 26th-28th, and in the artist bookshop B*stard at Oppland Kunstsenter, Lillehammer, September 3rd.
